Impression Electrical & Building is an electrical and building contractor based in Redditch, established 2019 and working across the West Midlands. We specialise in solar, battery storage and EV charging, and take on everything from high-end homes to commercial office fit-outs.
We started as electricians. That’s still the base everything sits on — solar, battery storage and EV charging are all electrical work at heart, which is why we do them properly rather than as bolt-ons. Over time we grew into the full building side too, so a job that needs more than one trade doesn’t need more than one firm.
These days the work runs from premium residential solar to commercial systems at scale, alongside rewires, testing, refurbishments and fit-outs. Most of it comes to us through recommendation and referral, which is the way we’d rather grow.

The company is led by Ben Sullivan. Between us the team carries more than 20 years of collective experience and multiple City & Guilds qualifications, and we’re fully insured.
On the bigger projects we work alongside architects and designers, fitting into a wider team rather than working around it. The standard doesn’t change with the size of the job — it’s the same whether it’s an extra socket or a 50kW commercial array.
Rooted in Redditch
We’re based just outside Redditch and cover 20–25 miles from Redditch, and further for commercial solar. Being local means we reach jobs quickly — as useful for a fault on an existing system as for a new install.
We know the area and the property stock it’s built on, from new-town estates to period homes and the business parks around Birmingham and Solihull.
