The solar industry has a repair problem. Almost every installer wants to sell you a new system; very few will fix one they didn't fit. That leaves people with a faulty install, or one whose installer has vanished, struggling to find anyone to help.
We take that work on. If your system has stopped generating what it should, is throwing errors, or you've inherited one with no paperwork, we can find out what's wrong and put it right.
The systems other installers walk away from
One customer bought a house with solar already fitted and couldn't get any help from the original company — no battery schematics, no way to update the app to their details. We produced the schematics, spent the hours it took to work through it with the manufacturers, registered the system in their name and got it running as it should.
Another had been left with a string of problems after a recent installation elsewhere. We were called in to put it right. This is normal work for us, not a favour.
What usually goes wrong, and servicing
Common faults sit around the inverter (the unit that converts the panels' DC to usable AC), the isolators, the wiring connections, or the monitoring that tells you the system's working. Underperformance often traces back to one of these rather than the panels themselves.
Regular servicing catches those before they cost you generation — a check of the inverter, connections, mounting and monitoring. If you've never had your system looked at since it went in, it's worth doing.

02 — Explain & cost
We tell you what's failed, what it takes to fix, and what it costs, in plain terms. If a repair isn't worth it, we'll say so honestly.
03 — Repair & verify
We carry out the work, confirm the system's generating as it should, and where needed sort the paperwork, registration and monitoring so you're back in control of it.

Will you repair a solar system another company installed?
Yes. That's a core part of what we do. We take on existing systems whoever fitted them, including ones whose original installer has gone quiet or won't help — it's how several customers found us.
My solar isn't generating what it used to. What could it be?
Underperformance usually traces to the inverter, the isolators, a wiring connection or the monitoring, rather than the panels themselves. We diagnose it properly before recommending anything, so you're not sold a fix you don't need.
I've inherited a system with no paperwork or app access. Can you help?
Yes. We've produced schematics, worked with manufacturers, registered systems in the owner's name and restored app access for customers in exactly that position. Inheriting a system with no documentation is a common reason people call us.
Do you service solar systems as well as repair them?
Yes. A service checks the inverter, connections, mounting and monitoring to catch small problems before they cost you generation. If your system hasn't been looked at since installation, it's worth booking one.
Is it worth repairing my system or should I replace it?
Often a repair is far cheaper than a replacement and gets you back to full generation. We'll tell you honestly which makes sense for your system rather than defaulting to selling you a new one.
