Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026
This policy explains how Impression Electrical & Building Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit our website or contact us about our services.
Who we are
Impression Electrical & Building Ltd, Seafield House, 2 Seafield Lane, Redditch, B98 9DL. You can contact us by email at info@ieb.services or by phone on 07990 012914.
Information we collect
We collect personal information that you choose to give us, including when you:
- submit an enquiry form on our website
- contact us by phone, email or through social media
- request a quote, survey or callback
This may include your name, email address, phone number, property or site postcode, and any details you provide about the work you’re enquiring about. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not collect payment or financial information through this website.
When you send an enquiry, we also record how you found us: the campaign or ad you arrived from if the link was tagged, the page you first landed on, and the website that referred you (the site name only, not the full address). This tells us which of our marketing actually brings in work. It is kept for your current visit, and for up to 30 days if you have accepted analytics or marketing cookies.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide quotes, surveys or information you’ve requested
- arrange and carry out work you’ve asked us to do
- keep records relating to our services, for accounting and legal purposes
- improve our website and the way we communicate with customers
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, and we only use it for the purposes described in this policy.
Sharing your information
We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who help us run our business — for example, tools we use to manage enquiries and communications. These providers only process your information on our instructions and are required to keep it secure.
We may also disclose your information if required to do so by law, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of our customers or others.
Cookies
We use essential cookies needed for the site to work, including one that remembers your cookie choice. These do not track you and cannot be switched off.
We also use two sets of non-essential cookies, and neither runs until you accept them:
- Analytics — Google Analytics, so we can see which pages people use and where they give up. We look at this in aggregate, not to identify you.
- Marketing — the Meta pixel, which tells us whether our Facebook and Instagram advertising brings in real enquiries, and lets us show ads to similar people. If you accept marketing cookies and then send us an enquiry, we also share your email address and phone number with Meta in an encrypted (hashed) form, so they can match the enquiry to an ad without us handing over your details in readable form. Decline marketing cookies and none of this happens.
You choose when the cookie banner first appears, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected for, including to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and, where a job proceeds, for the duration of our working relationship and any period required afterwards for our records.
Your rights
You have rights over your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or ask us to delete the information we hold about you. See our GDPR Policy for full details of your rights and how to exercise them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
